  2. Operational Excellence? Hahahahahahahahaha.

Anybody who deals with this bunch regularly knows, with a very few exceptions, there is no excellence going on there.

If I were the CEO, rather than wasting endless hours dishing out worthless plastic awards to each other, I would deal with the two major issues from which operational excellence may really flow.

    1. Deal with genuine poor performance on a fair & objective basis. No more exempting management, friends of management or fellow bullies etc etc.

    2. Make HMRC more of an attractive place to go to work and 'deliver the business'. Deal with the toxic bullying culture which has left staff severely physiologically injured. If crimes have been committed refer management suspects to Internal Guidance & CPS to put them before the law. Make it clear, in a democracy the laws don't only apply to the little people, but to HMRC as well.

  3. Isn't the award a slight contradiction in terms?
Or are there 2 parallel HMRC's, fact & fiction?
